Why we offer this
In our own trial data, the shops that went on to pay were the ones that added their real items in the first days. Most shops that stopped never got past an empty item list. Typing 300 items after closing time is hard, so we do it for you with the same item import that every RichPOS shop has (Items > Import, from an Excel/CSV sheet with name, HSN, tax, price, opening stock and barcode columns).

Dukaan Setup questions
What is the Dukaan Setup service?
It is a paid, optional service where the RichPOS team sets up your RichPOS account for you: we import your items, set GST rates and HSN codes, connect your printer and set your bill format. Basic is ₹499 for up to 300 items. Pro is ₹999 for up to 1,000 items and adds barcode labels, staff users, opening stock and a 30-minute training call.
Is setup not free in RichPOS?
RichPOS has no setup fee, and free setup help stays free: our team guides you on WhatsApp to import your Excel sheet and print your first bill yourself. Dukaan Setup is for owners who want us to do the whole setup for them instead of doing it themselves.
How fast will my shop be ready?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours after we receive your payment and a readable item list. A very messy list or more than the package's item count can take longer; we tell you on WhatsApp before we start.
How do I pay?
WhatsApp us first. We confirm what we will set up, then send you a payment link on WhatsApp. The price is the full price: ₹499 for Basic or ₹999 for Pro, one time.
What do I need to send?
Your item list as an Excel or CSV sheet, or clear photos of a printed or handwritten list with item name and selling price (MRP, purchase price, HSN and stock if you have them). For the printer, send its model name or a photo of its label. For the bill, send your logo, GSTIN and the address to print.
Can you set up my shop during the free trial?
Yes. The free 30-day trial has these limits: Up to 200 items & customers, 500 invoices, 1 warehouse and 1 user. If your list has more than 200 items, we import the rest once you move to a paid RichPOS plan.
Which printers can you set up?
Thermal receipt printers (58 mm and 80 mm), normal A4 printers and barcode label printers that work with your Windows, Mac or Android device. If your printer needs a driver we cannot get, we tell you before you pay.
Do I need to give you my password?
We do the setup in your RichPOS account. You can add us as a staff user and remove that user when setup is done, so you never have to share your own password.
Does the setup fee include the RichPOS plan?
No. Dukaan Setup is a one-time service fee. The RichPOS plan is separate: a free 30-day trial, then the plan shown on the pricing page.
