Billing Software for Mobile Phone and Accessories Shops
Har phone ka IMEI bill par, aur cover-charger ka stock bhi saaf.
RichPOS lets mobile and electronics shops print the IMEI or serial number on each GST bill, add warranty notes and track every charger and cover in stock. It works in your browser on the counter computer, with a free 30-day trial and ₹199 a month after that.
₹199/month or ₹2,000/year after the trial · No card needed
Common problems at the counter
Warranty claims with no IMEI proof
A customer comes back after six months with a dead handset. If the bill does not show the IMEI, you cannot prove it was sold from your shop, and the service centre may refuse the claim.
High-value stock, thin margins
One missing phone can wipe out the profit on twenty sales. Counting boxes in a notebook does not tell you which unit went where.
Accessories leak quietly
Tempered glass, covers, cables and earphones sell many times a day at small prices. Without a scan at billing, they vanish from stock without a trace.
Mixed payments on one bill
A ₹24,999 phone is paid part by UPI, part in cash, with the rest through a finance company. Writing this on a paper bill leaves you guessing at month end.

Which billing software is good for a mobile shop?
A good billing software for a mobile shop prints the IMEI and warranty details on the bill, tracks phones by model and variant, scans accessories by barcode and records split payments. RichPOS covers these for ₹199 a month or ₹2,000 a year, runs in the browser and has a free 30-day trial with no card needed.
What is the GST rate on mobile phones?
Mobile phones attract 18% GST in India. Chargers, cables and many other accessories are also commonly taxed at 18%, but rates can differ by item, so check the HSN code and rate with your CA. In RichPOS you set the HSN code and tax rate on each item, and every bill applies it automatically.
Can I print the IMEI number on the customer's bill?
Yes. You can add the IMEI or serial number and a warranty line to the bill for each handset. This gives the customer proof of purchase for warranty claims and lets you find the sale later when they return with a problem. For accessories, a barcode scan is enough, and low-stock alerts on chargers and screen guards tell you when to reorder.
How do I record a phone sold on EMI or finance?
RichPOS does not connect to finance companies or process EMI. You record the sale normally, take the down payment by cash, card or UPI, and note the finance company amount on the bill. Your ledger then shows what is still to be received, so you can follow up with the finance company.
Does RichPOS also handle mobile repairs?
Yes. RichPOS has a separate mobile repair module with job cards, IMEI, status tracking and WhatsApp updates to customers. Many mobile shops sell phones and run a repair counter, and both can work from the same account. Parts used in repairs come from the same stock list as your accessories, so one count covers both sides of the business.
Can I use RichPOS for an electronics shop as well?
Yes. Electronics and appliances work the same way: items by brand and category, serial numbers and warranty notes on the bill, and the GST rate you set per item. Check the current rate for each appliance with your CA, as rates vary by product.
Should a mobile shop print bills on thermal or A4 paper?
Use a thermal printer (58 mm or 80 mm) if you want fast, low-cost bills at the counter. Use A4 if business buyers ask for a full tax invoice with more detail. RichPOS supports both, and you can design the POS bill with your logo, GST number, IMEI line and a QR code. Many shops keep thermal for walk-ins and send a WhatsApp copy as backup.
I have two mobile shops. Can I manage both together?
Yes. RichPOS supports multiple stores and warehouses in one account. Each shop has its own staff and reports, and you can see consolidated reports for both. You can also transfer stock from one shop to the other when a model sells out at one location.
