Every limit on the Free plan, explained
50 bills a month
A free plan still costs money to run. The bill cap keeps Free for very small shops; a shop that bills more than this is getting real value and is the kind of shop paid plans are built for.
1 store and 1 user
One owner at one counter is the smallest shop. Free has the owner login only; staff logins and extra stores are what the paid plans add.
“Made with RichPOS” footer
A small footer on your bills tells your customers what you bill with. It is how a free plan helps more shops find RichPOS.
No data export or backup download
Exporting to Excel, CSV or Tally and downloading a backup are paid-plan features. Free is for billing, not for moving data out. Your bills and reports stay viewable and printable.
Premium modules locked
Modules such as marketing, stock tools, repairs, shop control, Tally and AI connect are part of the paid plans. Free is for billing.
When Free is not enough
- More than 50 bills a month. That is about 2 bills a day on a 25-day month, so a busy counter outgrows Free quickly.
- More than one store, or staff who need their own login (Free has the owner login only).
- You need to export your data to Excel, CSV or Tally.
- You need offline billing, GST e-invoices (IRN), e-way bills or a weighing scale connected by cable. RichPOS does not do these on any plan.

Sign up at app.richdaddy.in/register, add your WhatsApp number and tick “Free forever plan instead of the 30-day trial” before you create the account. If you do not tick it, you get the 30-day trial.
Add your items
Add items one by one (Free allows up to 200), or import a small item CSV of up to 200 rows, then connect a thermal or A4 printer if you print bills.
Bill, then upgrade when you outgrow it
Make up to 50 bills a month. When you need more bills, users, stores or export, move to a paid plan from the pricing page.

Is RichPOS free GST billing software?
RichPOS is GST billing software, and Free is a free-forever plan of it with the limits above; GST bills are not locked on Free, they just carry the footer. It does not make GST e-invoices (IRN) or e-way bills on any plan. The GST calculator, GST invoice generator and bill formats on this site are free tools that need no account.
What happens after 50 bills in a month?
The Free plan covers up to 50 bills a month, counted from the 1st of each calendar month (India time). At 40 bills you see a notice; at 50 new bills are blocked until the 1st of next month or until you upgrade. Your old bills, reports and printing stay open and nothing is deleted. Editing, returning or deleting a bill does not give the quota back. If your shop needs more, upgrade to a paid plan any time: Dukaan has 1,500 bills a month, Dukaan Plus 5,000, and Business and Business Pro are unlimited.
Why is there a “Made with RichPOS · richdaddy.in” footer on free bills?
A free plan has to pay for itself somehow. The small footer on your bills lets customers see what you bill with, which helps more shops find RichPOS. Paid plans do not have the footer, and no setting turns it off on Free.
Can I export my data on the Free plan?
No. The Free plan has no data export. Paid plans export reports to Excel, CSV or PDF while the plan is active, and Dukaan Plus and above add Tally export.
What is the difference between the Free plan and the 30-day free trial?
Free has no end date but is limited to 50 bills a month, 1 store and 1 user. The free trial gives the full paid RichPOS plan for 30 days with no card, within trial limits of 200 items and customers, 500 invoices, 1 warehouse and 1 user. If a trial ends without payment (trials ending from 30 October 2026), the store moves to Free instead of being locked and your data is kept. Otherwise a paid plan starts at ₹99/month for the first 3 months, then ₹199/month or ₹1,999/year.
How do I sign up for the Free plan?
Go to app.richdaddy.in/register, fill in the form with your WhatsApp number, and tick “Free forever plan instead of the 30-day trial” before you create the account. If you do not tick it you get the 30-day trial. There is one Free store per mobile number and per GSTIN; if yours is taken you can choose the 30-day trial or a paid plan.
Are there other free billing apps in India?
Yes. Some billing apps list free plans, for example Vyapar lists a free mobile plan (as listed on 22 Oct 2026), and some work offline, which RichPOS does not. Limits differ app to app, so compare bill caps, users and exports before you choose. Our comparison pages show each app’s own listed plans.
