How it works

Years of sales, items, customers and ledger entries are the memory of your business. With RichPOS they do not live on one shop computer: the data is stored on RichPOS's servers and RichPOS backs up all shop data daily, so a crashed disk or a stolen laptop does not take your records with it. Log in from another device and carry on.

For your own copy, export any report to Excel, CSV or PDF, and your sales and purchases for Tally (XML or CSV), at any time. Shops do not take, schedule or download a database backup themselves, and there is no backup setting in the app; if you ever need help getting data back, contact RichPOS support.

Database Backup questions

Does RichPOS back up my data?

Yes. RichPOS backs up all shop data daily on its servers. Shops do not need to run, schedule or download backups themselves.

Can I download a backup?

No. There is no database backup download. You can export your reports to Excel, CSV or PDF, and your sales and purchases for Tally, anytime and keep those files yourself.

What if my computer breaks or something goes wrong?

Log in from another device: your data is on the server, not on the broken one. For anything else, contact RichPOS support.
