What Delhi shops sell
Delhi is a Union Territory with its own legislature, so it has its own Delhi GST law: a local sale carries CGST + SGST (Delhi GST), not UTGST. Delhi GSTINs start with 07. No. Delhi has its own legislature, so it charges Delhi GST (SGST) with CGST on local sales, like a state. UTGST applies to Union Territories without a legislature, such as Chandigarh. Delhi GSTINs start with 07.
I sell to a shop in Noida from Delhi. Which GST goes on the bill?
Noida is in Uttar Pradesh (state code 09), so a sale delivered there to a registered buyer is usually inter-state and carries IGST. Confirm the place of supply rules for your case with your CA.
Can a Delhi wholesaler use RichPOS?
For counter billing, stock and GST reports, yes, including B2B bills with the buyer's GSTIN and a B2B/B2C split in the GSTR-1 report. But RichPOS does not generate e-invoices or e-way bills, which many larger wholesalers need.
What is the GST state code for Delhi?
07. Delhi is in Delhi, so every GSTIN registered there starts with 07.
