Blinkit seller accounting software: payouts, item profit and LP-SP GSTR-1
Updated
Quick answerRichPOS Marketplace Accounts reads your Blinkit payout files and invoice PDFs, recomputes every Payout Breakup line (commission, shipping, storage and aging, return charges, TDS, compensation) and marks it ✓ or CHECK, matches settlements by UTR, shows profit per item after all Blinkit fees using your purchase cost, posts the entries to your books, and keeps the GST input credit and LP-SP debit-note (GSTR-1) registers. Blinkit only today; Amazon and Flipkart are planned.
An early-access add-on in the new RichPOS app (Owner Tools). Price not announced yet.
What is in a Blinkit payout sheet (A to F)
Every cycle Blinkit sends a Payout Breakup summary and detail workbooks. The sections work like this:
| Section | Name | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| A | Customer payable | What customers paid for your items in the cycle, sales less returns. The starting line of the payout. |
| B | Order-level charges | Commission, shipping and customer return charges, each with GST, plus TCS and TDS (section 194-O). |
| C | Inventory charges | Upfront storage, recall charge, storage (aging) and courier charges, each with GST. These come from separate sheets: Upfront, Recall, Aging and Courier. |
| D | Other additions and deductions | Ads refund, compensation for lost or damaged inventory, TCS and TDS reimbursements, and other credit or debit notes. |
| E | Other deductions | Amounts Blinkit deducts that have no detail sheet in the payout files. |
| F | LP-SP adjustments | Landing price vs selling price adjustments. Shown for information: they are not part of the payout, but they matter for GST (see below). |
Net payout = A − B − C ± D − E, plus anything unsettled from the previous cycle. Labels follow Blinkit's files; your files may name lines slightly differently.
How the Blinkit reconciliation works
Upload the month's files
Upload Blinkit's monthly payout workbooks (Payout Breakup and the order, inventory, other-charges and LP-SP sheets) and Blinkit's invoice PDFs. Files are recognised by their sheet names, so renamed files still work.
Every payout line is recomputed
RichPOS rebuilds each Payout Breakup line (commission, shipping, storage and aging, return charges, TDS, compensation and the rest) from the detail sheets and marks it ✓ when it matches Blinkit's figure or CHECK when it does not.
Settlements are matched
Payments are listed by UTR, and lines not yet settled are shown, so you know what Blinkit still owes for the cycle.
Profit per item
Map Blinkit items to your RichPOS items once. RichPOS uses your purchase cost to show item-wise profit after all Blinkit fees, and a 'where you're bleeding money' card lists loss-making items and items where storage eats the margin.
Post to your books
Post the payout to your accounts: Blinkit's charges as expenses, TDS as receivable and the bank receipts. Unpost if you need to correct and post again.
GST registers
Blinkit's charge invoices build your GST input credit register. LP-SP debit notes go into a GSTR-1 debit-note register with an offline-tool CDNR Excel and JSON export, and an alert for notes not yet reported.
Item profit: where you're bleeding money
A payout can look fine while some items lose money. RichPOS takes your purchase cost for each mapped item and every Blinkit fee in the cycle, and shows profit item by item. The where you're bleeding money card lists the items that lose money after fees and the items where storage charges eat the margin, so you know which ones to reprice, push or stop sending.

LP-SP debit notes and GSTR-1
Blinkit's payout files include an LP-SP sheet: adjustments for the difference between the landing price and the selling price. These sit outside the payout, so they are easy to miss at filing time.
- RichPOS keeps a GSTR-1 debit-note register for LP-SP debit notes.
- It exports them as the GST offline tool's CDNR Excel and as JSON for upload.
- An alert shows debit notes not yet reported.
- Credit notes are tracked as Blinkit's.
Check the GST treatment of your notes with your CA before filing.
Books and GST input credit
Posting a payout creates the entries: Blinkit's charges as expenses, TDS as receivable and the bank receipts. If something was wrong, unpost and post again. Blinkit's charge invoice PDFs build a GST input credit register, grouped by Blinkit GSTIN and service, with an Excel export.
What it does not do (yet)
- Only Blinkit today. Amazon and Flipkart are planned; Zepto and Instamart are not supported.
- It works from the files Blinkit gives you; it does not connect to a Blinkit account.
- It does not file GST returns; it prepares the registers and exports.
Questions
What is Blinkit seller accounting software?
Software that turns Blinkit's monthly payout files and invoices into checked accounts: it reconciles each payout line, shows what Blinkit still owes, works out profit per item after Blinkit's fees, posts the entries to your books and keeps the GST records. RichPOS Marketplace Accounts does this for Blinkit sellers, as an early-access add-on.
What is in the Blinkit Payout Breakup?
Section A is the customer payable (sales less returns). B is order-level charges: commission, shipping and return charges with GST, plus TCS and TDS. C is inventory charges: upfront storage, recall, storage (aging) and courier, with GST. D is other additions and deductions such as compensation for lost or damaged stock and TCS/TDS reimbursements. E is other deductions. F lists LP-SP adjustments, which are for information and not part of the payout.
How do I reconcile a Blinkit payout?
Recompute every Payout Breakup line from the detail sheets, compare each with Blinkit's figure, then match the payments received by UTR and list what is unsettled. RichPOS does this automatically after you upload the files, marking each line ✓ or CHECK.
What is an LP-SP debit note on Blinkit?
LP-SP stands for landing price vs selling price. Blinkit's payout files list LP-SP adjustments separately from the payout. RichPOS keeps the LP-SP debit notes in a GSTR-1 debit-note register, exports them in the offline tool's CDNR Excel and JSON format, and alerts you when a note has not been reported. Credit notes are tracked as Blinkit's. Confirm the GST treatment of your notes with your CA.
Why are storage and aging charges eating my margin?
Storage and aging charges apply to stock lying at Blinkit, so slow-moving items keep paying them. RichPOS spreads all Blinkit fees over your items and shows the items where storage eats the margin or where you lose money after fees.
Can I claim input tax credit on Blinkit's charges?
Blinkit's charge invoices carry GST on its services. RichPOS reads those invoice PDFs into a GST input credit register (by GSTIN and service), so you can match them with what you claim. Your CA decides what is eligible.
Does it work for Zepto, Instamart, Amazon or Flipkart?
Not today. Marketplace Accounts works with Blinkit only. Amazon and Flipkart are planned. For a quick estimate on any platform, the free payout calculator works with any rates you enter.
