Questions
How do I ask a customer for pending payment politely?
Greet them by name, say the exact amount and since when it is pending, make paying easy (UPI ID or 'pay at the shop'), and thank them. Avoid blame in the first two reminders. The Polite and Friendly messages here follow that pattern.
What is a good udhaar reminder message in Hindi?
For example: 'नमस्ते रमेश जी, शर्मा किराना की तरफ़ से एक छोटा सा reminder। आपके खाते में ₹1,250 बाकी है। अपनी सुविधा से भुगतान कर दीजिए। धन्यवाद!' Pick Hindi above to fill in your own customer, amount and shop.
How often should I send a payment reminder?
A common rhythm is a polite reminder on the due date, a friendly one a week later, and a firm last reminder after two to three weeks. Send between 10 am and 7 pm, and stop as soon as the customer pays or gives a date.
Does this tool send the WhatsApp message for me?
No. It builds the text and opens WhatsApp with it ready; you press send from your own phone or WhatsApp Web. Nothing is sent from this page and the customer's number is not saved.
Can I add my UPI ID to the reminder?
Yes. Type your UPI ID and it is added on its own line, so the customer can copy it into any UPI app and pay.
Why a Diwali reminder?
Many shops, especially in Gujarat and Maharashtra, close the year's accounts at Diwali and start new books after it. A warm Diwali greeting with the pending amount is a respectful way to ask for dues before the new year.
Can I send reminders to many customers automatically?
Not from this free tool; it makes one message at a time. Billing software with udhaar tracking, such as RichPOS, keeps every customer's due from unpaid bills and sends a WhatsApp reminder with the right amount in one click.
